Mechanical keyboards without the hype spiral
You do not need a rare switch lottery to type better. Start with a layout you already know, a case that does not flex, and switches that match your noise tolerance. Lubing and films help, but proper desk height and wrist posture matter more for comfort. Hot-swap boards let you experiment later without soldering. Backlight rainbow modes are optional; a calm teal indicator is enough for night coding. Buy once for feel, not for social media unboxings.
